The choice to wake up
So, this week I received a call from the front desk at the local primary school. Again. The second call within the last 10 days. “Child #2 has fallen on her elbow.” Again. “And she won’t move it.”

So, it was raining leaves this morning. Yellow, curled leaves. And because the wind was so still and the streets of Melbourne so quiet, they danced their way to the grass.
